I hope that your visits to Kings Canyon in 2008 were the best ever... if not, or if you didn't make it up there last year, please let us know how your visit could have been better and we hope to see you up there some time this season!

Pictures - South Fork Kings Third Annual Fall River Cleanup Day!
Some pictures from one of our past river cleanup days...
Another successful river cleanup! Cleaning up the South Fork Kings, river stewardship education and river assessment objectives were all enjoyably incorporated into this event. Scroll down for some pictures, including our "Diaper Disposal" poster!
| Little Bear visiting Three Mile Pool - a rare event, as this was the bear that was hit on Highway 180 near Grizzly Falls
| Although our turnout was small, it was an active group of NPS staff and South Fork Kings Friends who participated in this clean up. Here's evidence of their hard work - thanks to all our cleanup volunteers!
| Low Fall flows at cleanup time - the gage on the bridge reads 2.6 feet!
| Fall Cleanup view of the Old Swimming Hole, also showing the low water this time of year.

Our newest sponsor and "trout-fishingholic" Doug Masterson (shown here) returned to the Canyon to help with the clean up and made some fine contributions!
You can download a full-page PDF version of this poster (file size ~200K).
