Monitoring activities in the South Fork Kings River watershed have included measuring stream flow, water quality, fish populations, and general observations.

Monitoring has taken place starting with U.S. Geological Survey stream flow monitoring in the 1950's and includes current volunteer efforts by Friends of the South Fork Kings.
